HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Golf Simulator works using either a single high speed camera or a dual camera setup. The camera is plugged into the computer and works in connection with the lighting.

The High Speed Camera detects the golfers swing & movement of the golf club and ball, this is then analysised and accuratly reproduced on the Sports Coach GPS Software.

After the Golf ball has hit the canvas screen the ball will come to rest on the floor, the computer will then take over and you show your represented shot.

WHAT SIZE ROOM DO I NEED?

A Typical Size room would consist of 5 meters WIDE x 6 meters DEEP x 3 meters HIGH

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EACH PACKAGE?

This depends on which product package you have opted to purchase.

CAN I HIRE A GOLF SIMULATOR?

CAN I LEASE A GOLF SIMULATOR?

YES there are various finance companies that will assist you in purchasing a Golf Simulator.

WHERE ARE GOLF SIMULATORS INSTALLED?

The Sports Coach Golf Simulators can be installed almost anywhere based on you having enough room, generally they are installed in Golf Academies, Indoor Golf Teaching Centers, Commercial Businesses, Private Homes and even Garage Conversions.

CAN THE GOLF SIMULATOR OPERATE ON WINDOWS / APPLE MAC COMPUTERS?

Our Golf Simulators work solely on Windows based computers, however if you have an Apply Mac you can install Parallel Desktops that enables you to run Windows on an Apple Mac.

HOW MANY COURSE DO I GET?

Sports Coach offer Two course packages:

STANDARD - 40 Courses

These are the standard courses that come with the GPS Software.

PREMIUM - 130 Courses

The Premium course package are the elite courses from around the world, including many LINKS courses.

HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN PLAY AT ONE TIME?

The maximum amount of players that can play on one Sports Coach Golf Simulator is FOUR.

HOW DOES THE TECHNOLOGY WORK?

CAN I USE A TELEVISION INSTEAD OF A PROJECTOR?

YES a Television can be connected straight to the computers Graphics Card via the VGA, DVI or HDMI connection.

There is also the option to run 1 projector plus two televisions with our ULTIMATE STUDIO SIMULATOR (see here for more details)

DO I USE OFF THE SHELF GOLF EQUIPMENT?

YES, off the shelf golf equipment can be used on the Sports Coach Golf Simulator, you can use your own clubs and balls with our golf simulator.

CAN I CONNECT A PLAYSTATION 4 OR XBOX ONE?

YES, a Playstation 4 and the XBOX ONE can be connected via the HDMI cable from the projector or Television.

HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE THE GOODS FROM ORDERING?

From point of order we will have the Sports Coach Golf Simulator ready within 3 weeks.

All of our standard size golf simulators are in stock so this would take less time.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SETUP?

Based on the Golf Simulator area being clear, one of our installers would be able to full assemble a single bay Golf Simulator within 2 days.

This includes, Framework & PVC Cage installation, hanging the canvas hitting screen, laying the simulator carpet, fixing the technology to the structure, calibrating the projector, testing the camera(s) and training.

HOW EASY IS IT TO SET UP AND TAKE DOWN?

The Sports Coach Golf Simulator is Fairly Straight Forward to install based on following the Sports Coach Installation Manual carefully.

IS THERE AN OUTDOOR SIMULATOR?

YES, we can provide an Outdoor Inflatable Simulator for Sale or Hire.

WHAT AGE GROUP CAN USE THE GOLF SIMULATOR?

The Great thing about our Golf Simulator is that ANY AGE can play on the Sports Coach Golf Simulator.

We have a wide range of programs that are tailored to different age groups.

We have also created a Putting Simulator which includes a Crazy Golf option that is great for young age groups and Non Golfers.

SHOULD I INSURE THE GOLF SIMULATOR?

YES after purchasing a Golf Simulator from Sports Coach we recommend that

You insure the Simulator.

The most important item that we suggest to insure is the

USB SECURITY DONGLE, this controls the GPS Software to work.

If you happen to lose the USB Security Dongle you would not be able to access the Golf Software and use the Golf Simulator,

Based on this not being insured you would need to purchase the software again to obtain another usb security dongle.
