CONTESTS AND TOURNAMENTS
Longest Drive
Longest Drive players to compete in a longest drive competition on Par 4’s and 5’s for each course. Choose to play from the competition tee, mens tee or forward position (ladies). Choose from bright, normal, cloudy or rain conditions and select the wind strength to increase difficulty. Players are offered 1, 2 or 3 attempts, and after each shot, a leader board is shown listing the leading players in order of their distance. Up to four contests can be played at once - mens, ladies, seniors and juniors, and play can be switched from right to left handed at any time.
Putting Contest
Putting Contests can be configured to create a contest that can be made is as easy or as difficult as you like. Simply choose any hole on any course, choose your preferred weather conditions, then select any point on the green to commence the contest. Players then compete to sink as many putts as they can with the system offering 1, 2 or 3 attempts per player. The distance from the cup is shown for each putt, and during the contest any putt going in the hole, gets an automatic reverse replay. After every shot the leader board is shown listing the leading players in order of their distance to the cup. Up to four contests can be played at once - mens, ladies, seniors and juniors.
Nearest to Pin
Nearest to Pin is a competition mode that allows players to compete on any Par 3 holes on any course. Players can choose to set the contest from the competition tee, mens tee or forward position (ladies). Choose the weather conditions from bright, normal, cloudy or rain and set the wind type to increase difficulty. Players then compete to hit as close to the pin as they can with the system offering 1, 2 or 3 attempts per player. During the contest, any shot that lands on the green gets an automatic reverse replay. After every shot the leader board is shown listing the leading players in order of their distance to the pin. Up to four contests can be played at once - mens, ladies, seniors and juniors, and play can be switched from right to left handed at any time.
Run Local Networked Tournaments
Setting up a Live Network Game, is extremely easy as the networking option is a fully integrated part of the simulator gaming software. Simply select the course to use, a competition type, the number of holes and a start and end date for the competition. Once configured, each networked simulator can now be used by all players to play on the live networked competition.
To join a tournament, simply choose any simulator connected to the network and join the game. At the end of each hole, the live leader board appears showing the position of each player. This is the perfect solution for corporate golf, as all the simulators can be used simultaneously and every player in the facility can play the same tournament, just like the European and PGA Tours.
